President's Message

Hold on to your socks... I can't believe it's December already. I'm not at all ready, so much to do. And not enough hours to get it all done. I hope you are all having more luck than me.

I've always been the kind of person that takes value in traditions, the time we spend with family and loved ones during the holidays. For some reason this year I'm left wondering if the traditions are worth all the trouble.

Why can't we all enjoy the holidays without getting all caught up in the crazy that this time of the year brings.

I challenge all of you to simply enjoy the holidays this year, without getting all caught up in the "crazy".

Merry Christmas 🎄

Amanda

Christmas in the Heartland

Thank you to the members of Community Stitches who offered to loan Christmas Quilts for use at Bremner House, during Christmas In the Heartland.

For anyone who has kids, a visit to Christmas in the Heartland is a good way to see an old-fashioned Christmas. This takes place November 26-27.

Members of the Sherwood Park Quilt Guild will be at Bremner House on the Sunday afternoon with a craft for kids. Bremner House is located at 53452 - Range Road 225. It is the first Range Road past Hwy 21 off the Yellowhead  Highway. Bremner House is on the left(west) side.

Please see http://josephburg-ag.ca/christmas-in-the-heartland for more information on Christmas in the Heartland.
